Villa d’Este La Collezione announces the official debut of Miralago Luxury Apartments, which opened its doors on July 4, 2026. Overlooking the prestigious Riva di Cernobbio, the property introduces the concept of “branded living” to Lake Como: a premium hospitality experience that combines the Group’s cultural heritage with the intimacy of home.
Miralago Luxury Apartments was created for those who see Lake Como not as a landscape to be admired, but as a place to call home. A project designed for those who love this region, for those who view Villa d’Este as a cultural landmark even before it is an international icon. Following a complete renovation of the former Miralago Hotel, this historic building is now reopened to guests from around the world who choose to visit our lake, as well as to the local community, in a new residential format.
The building spans four floors and houses eight residences—two per floor—all with direct views of the lake. Designed to be lived in individually or combined, they offer an extremely flexible living experience. Each floor features two connecting one- or two-bedroom apartments, which can be combined into a single three-bedroom residence, allowing guests to adapt the spaces to their needs—from a more intimate stay to a vacation with
family or friends—without ever compromising on comfort, privacy, or the flow of the living spaces.
The most distinctive feature is the constant dialogue between the architecture and the lake. The residences are built right at the water’s edge, offering a privileged view of the lake landscape and a sense of being truly immersed in nature. The lake is not merely a view to be admired: it enters the interiors through light, reflections, and its extraordinary proximity, transforming the atmosphere as the hours and seasons pass. Here, luxury is expressed through discretion—the balance between what is visible and what remains private. The architectural and interior design project, curated by Studio Droulers, establishes a profound dialogue with the lake region’s tradition, reinterpreting the iconic elements of historic villas through spaces bathed in light, a light and ethereal color palette, and the use of fine fabrics and refined materials. Attention to detail is reflected in every moment of the Miralago experience. Starting in the morning, guests can choose to enjoy breakfast in the privacy of their own residence or on the ground floor at the new Caffè Miralago, designed as a gathering place open to both apartment residents and the local community. Open daily, the Caffè
accompanies every moment of the day, from the first light of dawn until aperitif time.
