From July 5 opens the first week of the Music Festival on water: the magic of music and emerging talents that will inaugurate the twentieth edition dedicated to the "Creation"
From 5 to 14 July 2024 in Colico, Como, Gravedona, Pianello del Lario, Varenna many of the most internationally acclaimed musicians alternate with young MACH Orchestra in a growing of beauty and vibrant emotion, for a Billboard that combines music and breathtaking natural and architectural scenery.
The twentieth anniversary will see the presence of artists of international prestige such as Maria João Pires (piano), Giuliano Carmignola (violin) and Sara Mingardo (alto) and their illustrious colleagues Gilles Apap (violin), Roberto Armocida (saxophone), Simone Briatore (viola), Anton Dressler (clarinet), Thibaut Garcia (guitar), Myriam Lafargue (accordeon), Sebastian Klinger and Amalie Stalheim (cello), Ingrid Fliter and André Gallo (piano)
Saturday, July 5 at 17, in the Cariboni Park of Colico, will be held the free concert MACH for families
The opening concert, which officially inaugurates the twentieth edition of the Festival, will be held the next day, at 21 on Saturday, July 6, in the cloister of the beautiful Abbey of Piona
Sunday, July 7, in the particular setting of the Museum of the boat Lariana of Pianello del Lario will be held again the “FOUR SEASONS”
Wednesday, July 10, again within the ancient walls of the Abbey of Piona, will be held the first chamber concert
Thursday, July 11, the Festival offers the opportunity to live a unique experience in the iconic Villa Osio in Colico, otherwise closed to the public
Friday, July 12 at the Auditorium Ghisla in Colico, will be screened the documentary “The other voice of music – traveling with Claudio Abbado between Caracas and Havana”
A Breakfast with… Amalie Stalheim is the morning concert scheduled for Saturday, July 13, to enjoy the first light of dawn together with the magic of the Bach Cello Suites: at 6:15 on the Wild Beach of Colico (but be careful, the meeting is at 5:45)
The first week will end Sunday, July 14 at the Villa Monastero of Varenna
